The Silent Art of Self-Destruction

Want to ruin your life? Let me help you.

First things first—forget who you are. Start carrying the burden of everyone’s expectations. Say “yes” to everything, even when your heart screams “no.” Slowly, you won’t even recognize yourself. Some people will keep hurting you, lying to you, ignoring your feelings. But you’ll stick with them—just because you believe you're nothing without them. As long as you keep thinking that pain is the definition of love, you’ll keep destroying yourself. Feel like crying? Go to the bathroom and cry silently. Never tell anyone you feel anything. In trying to be “strong,” you’ll turn yourself into a stone. And one day, when you finally feel like breaking down, there’ll be nothing left inside to break. You’ll truly start ruining your life when you constantly believe that everyone else is better than you. Scroll through social media, count likes, compare followers, hate yourself a little more every day. Leave your original journey behind and start running a copied race. You’ll never find real happiness. When you look in the mirror, see only your flaws—your weaknesses, your mistakes. Keep repeating your past but never forgive yourself. Silence the innocent child within you. The day you stop loving yourself, you’ll begin dying slowly from the inside. Do you love to write? Quit it. Passionate about music? Let it go. Do only what society says is “right.” When you ignore your inner voice, you may still be breathing—but how long can you call that living? And when the darkness grows deeper, don’t tell anyone. Say “I’m fine” and hug your pain every night before sleep. Wake up every morning with a fake smile. Let everyone believe you’re happy, while inside you’re falling apart like torn pages. To ruin your life, all it takes is this: stop listening to your heart, get lost in the noise of the world, and drift so far from yourself that one day you won’t even recognize who you are.

But if reading this made you feel something—or reminded you of someone—then maybe you're not entirely ruined just yet.

There’s still time… It’s never too late to come back to yourself.

And if you’ve ever felt this way—even once—

Tell me in the comments…

Which line hit you the hardest?

Let’s not stay silent anymore.

Let’s feel. Let’s heal. Together.
